Join our Human Resources Office
Support the District’s Human Resources Office by managing multiple programs and priorities in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment. As part of the Human Resources team, the Workforce Development Coordinator will lead the District’s workforce and leadership training efforts, overseeing the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning initiatives that strengthen workforce capability. This role will conduct identify training needs, research training resources, and implement targeted training programs. This position also oversees, workforce development initiatives including tuition reimbursement process and the Student Internship Program by maintaining strong partnerships with stakeholders to support employee growth. The Coordinator will also manage key vendor relationships and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across the District. Starting Compensation: $61,254.00 - $70,521.40
The starting salary range for the Human Resources Professional position reflects the minimum to 20% of the compensation. The starting salary will be based on the education and experience of the successful candidate. The District conducts annual performance evaluations that may award applicable pay increases based on positive employee performance.
Essential Functions
Lead the District’s training and talent development function, overseeing the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning initiatives that support workforce growth, performance enhancement, and organizational capability.
Track and maintain human resources data using various technology platforms and systems.
Gather information, prepare presentations, and facilitate discussions with individuals and groups.
Facilitate staff training sessions to support employee learning and development.
Partner with external and internal stakeholders to communicate, coordinate, and implement training initiatives.
Oversight of the tuition reimbursement program and reporting requirements.
Manage the Student Internship Program including recruitment efforts and education requirements.
Drive leadership development programs and activities.
Build and maintain positive and effective working relationships and partnerships across the organization.
Requirements
Required Credentials for Workforce Development Coordinator
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in Human Resources, Business or related field
- Five (5) years related experience in human resources and/or training and development
- Equivalent combination of education and experience is accepted
- Valid driver’s license
