- Utility Billing & Payroll Coordinator
Description
The City of Trenton is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Utility Billing and Payroll Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating and processing municipal payroll functions, utility billing operations, customer service activities, cash receipting, and a variety of financial reporting and accounting support functions.
The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with the public, employees, and other departments while managing multiple deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three (3) or more years of progressively responsible experience in bookkeeping, payroll, accounting, or related financial operations.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Municipal experience and familiarity with BS&A software are preferred.
Salary:
$59,074 - 69,108 annually, depending upon qualifications and experience.
