A well-established and growing supplier of cement and construction materials is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support ready mix concrete, precast, and concrete product customers throughout the assigned territory. This is a customer-facing technical role where your expertise will directly influence product performance, customer success, and long-term business relationships.

Working closely with customers and internal operations, you will provide technical guidance on concrete materials, mix designs, product performance, troubleshooting, and quality improvement initiatives. You will conduct field evaluations, assist with testing, investigate customer concerns, and recommend practical solutions that improve concrete performance while strengthening customer confidence.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to ready mix, precast, and concrete product customers.
• Assist customers with concrete mix designs and product performance recommendations.
• Conduct field evaluations, product testing, and technical investigations.
• Troubleshoot concrete performance issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations and educational programs.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and manufacturing teams to support customer success.
• Build long-term relationships through exceptional technical service and responsiveness.
• Remain current on ACI, ASTM, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Concrete Industry Management, Materials Science, or another related technical discipline is preferred.
• Candidates with equivalent industry experience and a strong background in concrete testing are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with concrete testing, quality control, technical services, engineering, or customer support is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of concrete materials, mix designs, concrete performance, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with ACI and ASTM standards and testing procedures.
• ACI certification is preferred but not required. Candidates with the ability to obtain certification are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to customers.
• Self-motivated professional with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
