YOUR JOB

• Construction management & leadership: Supervision and management of construction crews, subcontractors and skilled workers on the construction site.
• Occupational safety: Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and actively promoting a safe working environment
• Specifications: Creation and maintenance of specifications as a basis for tenders and contracts
• Scheduling and budget management: Planning and scheduling of construction activities as well as ensuring timely and budget-compliant project completion.
• Project controlling: Monitoring project progress, creating status reports, and identifying and resolving deviations in schedule or budget at an early stage.
• Cost management: Managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ongoing cost control.
• Coordination: Close coordination with architects, engineers and other project stakeholders to ensure compliance with planning and execution specifications.
• Quality and permit management: Ensuring the quality standards of all construction work, as well as obtaining and managing necessary permits.
• Communication with authorities: Communication and coordination with building authorities and building offices in all relevant approval and licensing procedures.
• Document management: Organization and administration of all project-relevant documents relating to permits, commissioning and acceptance issues.
• Communication: Regularly informing customers and stakeholders about the project status and proactively addressing any questions and problems that arise.

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed studies in civil engineering, architecture or a comparable technical qualification (e.g. construction technician, master craftsman)
• Several years of professional experience in construction management or project management, ideally in the field of building construction or renovation of existing buildings.
• Proficient use of common construction software (e.g., MS Project, AVA software)
• Sound knowledge of the VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures) as well as relevant standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills, assertiveness, and teamwork skills
• Independent, structured work style with a high quality awareness
• Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
