Growing together.The Senior Patient Care Coordinator is responsible to the Center Administrator and provides appointment scheduling, patient registration, cashiering, answers incoming calls and performs other related clerical functions. This primary role provides front office support functions.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Location: 2704 N Tenaya Way, Las Vegas, NV
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, guidance, support and direction for the front office and non-clinical staff. Function as first contact for customer service issues. Resolve complex issues rarely deferring to supervisor/manager.
- Responsible for enforcing customer service standards, billing functions to include patient check in/out process, cash handling, demographics and insurance information in IDX.
- Oversee and monitor empanelment and call process making adjustments as needed to meet customer's expectations, mediate patient issues and manages the administrative aspect of the patient's visit, ensuring that customer service standards are met.
- Complete daily deposit. Accountable for adherence to business compliance audits criteria for multiple specialties.
- Assist management staff with supervisory responsibilities including, but not limited to, hiring, staff orientation and development, evaluations and disciplinary actions for multiple specialties.
- Accurately generate and analyze purchasing, payroll, provider productivity, impanelment, missing charges, staffing and any other management requested reports. Serves as back up for running system application reports related to financial reporting.
- Development and oversight of efficient customer service processes including waiting room management.
- Responsible for compliance requirements as dictated by clinic needs.
- Functions as safety representative and completes monthly building safety inspections and submits appropriate maintenance requests as needed.
- Assists in the development of the yearly budget.
- Maintains current list of clinic assets.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the facility and reports to management when items need to be replaced.
- Travel to job related tasks such as, but not limited to, floating.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 3+ years of experience in medical office or hospital admitting setting
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of related work experience including data entry
- Prior experience with EMR computer applications
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.38 to $36.44 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
