The Georgetown News-Graphic is seeking a Sales & Marketing Specialist. The ideal candidate will have the ability to sell advertising and marketing plans that include print and digital components. Print advertising includes the newspaper, magazines, shoppers, and other special projects. Our digital advertising products include all the latest cutting-edge tactics that will help businesses grow. This includes search and keyword advertising, geofencing, streaming TV commercials, streaming audio ads and more. Our Sales & Marketing Specialists work closely with clients to develop a comprehensive advertising/marketing plan. Each specialist is responsible for cultivating new business and maintaining existing client relationships. We are looking for innovative problem solvers that are not afraid to ask for the sale. If you enjoy meeting new people and working with local businesses to help them succeed, this job is for you! Daily tasks include making sales presentations to clients, crafting tailor-made proposals that work for potential clients, building and maintaining relationships with new and current customers and more. Prospects for this job will be provided an existing client list, but must also be comfortable with cold calling. Candidates must be goal oriented, with attention to detail, and must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
