Description
We are a lighting company based in Riyadh seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and expand our sales operations across lighting, lighting control systems, home automation, and maintenance services.This is a senior commercial role reporting directly to the CEO and requires strong hands-on experience in lighting industry projects, particularly in lighting design, lighting control systems, and project-based sales execution.
The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and developing business opportunities across residential, commercial, and large-scale project sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across lighting and smart systems
- Drive project-based sales for lighting design, lighting control systems, and automation solutions
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and company targets
- Develop new business opportunities with consultants, contractors, developers, and MEP firms
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners
- Manage full sales cycle for lighting and control system projects (from lead to handover)
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates for the CEO
- Negotiate contracts and close high-value project deals
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and new lighting technologies
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure successful execution
- Represent the company in client meetings, site visits, and industry events
Scope of Work Includes
- Lighting design and installation projects
- Lighting control systems (mandatory experience required)
- Home automation and smart system integration
- Maintenance and service contracts
- After-sales support and upgrades
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 8-10+ years of sales experience (mandatory)
- Must have experience in the lighting industry (projects-based)
- Must have experience in lighting control systems (KNX, DALI, or similar systems preferred)
- Strong experience in project sales (consultants, contractors, developers)
- Proven experience in a Sales Manager or senior sales role
- Strong track record of achieving revenue targets
- Strong technical understanding of lighting systems and control solutions
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
- Experience in smart systems or home automation is a plus
