Description
SummaryThis position will lead the reservations process at the hotel. Responsibilities will include: monitoring/maintaining group reservations and rooming lists, involvement with hotel inventory, assisting with reservation related training, and attending hotel reservation related meetings.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Working with other Rooms Departments, checking room and room-type availability, to maximize room sales, yield and average room rate through upselling and other inventory and rate management initiatives.
- Overseeing and assisting with the processing of individual and group reservations, rooming lists, and other reservations.
- Ensuring accuracy of airline manifests, including loading, routing, cancellations, and reporting.
- Working closely with other management personnel in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
- Monitoring and following up on group blocks and groups with no rooming lists.
- Supervise, train, and develop agents.
- Preparing and communicating a weekly report detailing pick-ups from groups.

Qualifications
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Excellent time-management skills
- Excellent customer service and interface skills
- Previous group reservations experience preferred
- Knowledge of Hyatt's reservation systema dn procedures preferred
