This position may have the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.
Our Project Selection Coordinator provides professional planning and coordination for the agency’s transportation project selection policy and process. This position is responsible for implementing, assessing, and improving the project selection policy and process, including:
- Serving as the agency expert on the project selection policy,
- Leading the development of new updates or legislative change proposals to the policy,
- Developing and preparing legislative reports, and
- Facilitating engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Here are the Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of advanced professional planning experience that demonstrates the following:
- Experience developing and/or implementing policies, plans, programs, or processes.
- Experience leading and/or facilitating internal and external groups and meetings.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI or similar software.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning, Geography, Urban Studies, Sociology, Political Science substitutes for six months of advanced professional experience.
