Internship Opportunity - Oncology Business UnitDuration: 3 months
Location: Merck Biopharma, Azabudai Hills, Tokyo

About the Internship:Join our Oncology Business Unit for an exciting 3-month internship, where you will gain hands-on experience in supporting the launch of our innovative new product, Zepzelca. This role offers a multifaceted exposure to the oncology field, combining operational, strategic, and marketing activities within a leading global healthcare company.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the launch activities of Zepzelca through cross-functional collaboration, project tracking, and development and execution of the launch plan
• Lead the consolidation of inputs across departments such as commercial, medical, BTS, Market access etc.,
• Support in ensuring consistency of local brand plan and tactics with global strategy
• Assist in the creation and updating of brand plans for our established products Bavencio, Tepmetko and Erbitux, contributing to finding most impactful tactics
• Provide an outside-in view and out-of-the-box ideas on brand positioning and how to further improve execution of our brand strategy
• Support other departments outside of marketing, including strategic planning, new product planning and our Fertility BU on a as needed basis

What You Will Learn:

• Broad insight into the healthcare industry and departments outside of marketing, including strategic planning, new product planning and our Fertility BU
• Practical experience in pharmaceutical product launch within oncology
• Brand management and strategic marketing fundamentals in a highly regulated environment
• Cross-functional teamwork across medical, commercial, and strategic planning teams
