Description
Growth — this is the priority
Grow net collections across all three sites: schedule density, provider productivity, new patient acquisition, and recapture of lapsed patients
Build the aesthetic, cosmetic, and retail revenue line into a real contributor, not a side business
Renegotiate payer contracts and vendor agreements
Oversee the billing and collections function (we have dedicated billing staff — you set the targets and hold the line, you do not post payments)
Open new locations: site selection support, buildout coordination, staffing, and launch
Provider growth and credentialing
Own recruiting, onboarding, and credentialing for new physicians and physician assistants
Manage payer enrollment end to end — commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid
Build a credentialing calendar so recredentialing never lapses
HR, payroll, and compliance
Own the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, performance management, corrective action, and separations
Build the PTO and attendance policies we do not currently have, then administer them in ADP
Own payroll, timekeeping, missed-punch resolution, and benefits administration
Own HIPAA and OSHA compliance, including annual staff training
Systems and technology
Lead our transition from paper charts to a dermatology EHR — vendor selection, chart abstraction workflow, staff training, and go-live
You will have an implementation budget and outside implementation support. You are leading this, not doing it alone.
Evaluate and improve our phone system and patient communication
Identify where automation and AI tools can take work off clinical and front-office staff
Multi-site operations
Direct supervision of the front office manager and site leads
Set staffing models and standardize workflows across all three locations
Own the operating rhythm: what gets measured, how often, and who answers for it
Requirements
5+ years running operations for a multi-provider medical practice
Ownership of the revenue side — you have been accountable for collections, productivity, or profitability, not just the schedule
Provider credentialing and payer enrollment experience
Full-cycle HR ownership in a practice with no separate HR department
Multi-site experience, with site leads or managers reporting to you
Bachelor's degree or equivalent operating experience
