Description
Status: Full time, seasonal (through October)Schedule: Wed-Sun, shift hours flexible
Hourly Rate: $23 - $24/hr based on experience
SUMMARY
The Pool Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the 3 pools at the Juniper Preserve. This role is required to ensure set-up/breakdown of the pool, welcoming guests, attending to the daily needs of the pools, and enforcing safety rules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setting up umbrellas, loungers, and other pool furniture.
- Ensuring that the swimming pools, furniture, and facilities are clean and safe.
- Ensure towels stations are stocked.
- Welcoming guests and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Providing guests with towels, shade, and attending to their requests.
- Clearing used towels, glasses and trash.
- Enforcing safety protocols as set out by the resort.
- Reporting any damages or incidents to Management.
- Managing the pool attendants, cleaning schedule and performing daily inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- One year of prior experience in hospitality or pool services.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a passion for service.
- Must pass a drug test and background check
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Outdoors approximately 75% of the shift, indoors 25%.
- Continuous standing and walking required; occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work in varied weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license required; occasional driving on property.
- Must be comfortable with radio and phone communication, computer systems, and minor equipment handling.
- Must follow safety protocols and use MSDS for handling chemicals when necessary.
