Job Summary
Responsible for driving sales of parts and services across multiple industries by developing new customer relationships and maintaining existing accounts. Focuses on achieving sales targets, identifying customer needs, preparing proposals, and ensuring successful delivery of products and services. Acts as a key liaison between customers and internal teams to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Generate new business opportunities and maintain existing customer accounts.
Analyze customer needs and recommend suitable products and services.
Achieve assigned sales goals and revenue targets.
Support marketing and introduction of new products or services.
Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, production, purchasing) to ensure timely project execution.
Monitor sales orders, project costs, materials, and delivery schedules.
Prepare cost estimates, bids, and proposals; negotiate contracts with customers.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships within target industries.
Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share.
Resolve customer issues, complaints, and service concerns efficiently.
Conduct product demonstrations and explain equipment usage.
Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
Evaluate sales performance and prepare reports on customer needs and market conditions.
Ensure all business transactions are conducted ethically and professionally.
Requirements
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED with 3–7 years of related sales experience.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build relationships and influence decision-making.
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
Skills & Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Oracle experience preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines.
Ability to prepare and deliver effective customer presentations.
Working Conditions
Office environment with frequent travel to customer sites and occasional exposure to shop/manufacturing environments
