Description
The RoleThe are partnered with a leading global financial technology firm to support the build‑out of its enterprise product sales team in New York.This role is focused on driving growth for a multi‑asset order and trade workflow platform used by sell‑side institutions across global markets. You will be responsible for expanding existing relationships and originating new business by positioning the platform at the core of clients' trading, risk, and post‑trade workflows.You'll operate in a consultative, enterprise sales capacity-working with senior stakeholders to understand complex front‑to‑back processes and delivering tailored, workflow‑led solutions. The role involves long, multi‑threaded sales cycles and close collaboration with internal partners across sales, product, and solutions teams.Beyond revenue generation, this position plays a key role in shaping go‑to‑market strategy by feeding real‑time client and market insights back into product and commercial leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Build trusted, long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders at sell‑side institutions by developing a deep understanding of their trading, risk, and operational workflows
- Identify and execute new business and expansion opportunities within complex enterprise accounts
- Lead consultative sales conversations around order management, risk, compliance, and front‑to‑back trading infrastructure
- Position a multi‑asset OMS and adjacent solutions in the context of clients' technology strategies, regulatory needs, and evolving business models
- Own pipeline development, forecasting, and execution across long sales cycles
- Collaborate closely with account coverage, pre‑sales, product, implementation, and risk teams to deliver cohesive solutions
- Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive ecosystem and clearly articulate differentiated value
- Provide structured feedback on client workflows, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform product and commercial strategy
- Contribute to broader strategic initiatives that support regional and firm‑wide growth objectives
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of client‑facing experience in financial services or financial technology
- Proven experience selling complex, enterprise‑level solutions to sell‑side institutions (e.g., OMS, EMS, risk platforms, trading infrastructure)
- Strong understanding of sell‑side trading workflows, particularly across fixed income and derivatives
- Ability to navigate and influence senior stakeholder groups within large financial institutions
- Demonstrated success managing complex deal cycles, pipeline ownership, and revenue targets
- A consultative, solution‑oriented sales approach with a high bar for client service
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Willingness to travel as needed for client engagement
