Description
About the RoleWPTZ/WNNE, NBC5, the Hearst Television station serving Vermont and Northern New York, is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our national sales team. This role works closely with National Account Executives and Sales Managers to process advertising contracts, coordinate campaign scheduling and launches, obtain creative materials, and prepare sales support materials, ensuring campaigns are executed accurately and efficiently.
$43,000 and $46,000
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel. Experience with WideOrbit or similar broadcast traffic software preferred
- Previous television advertising sales or media industry experience is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick learner who adapts easily to new systems and changing priorities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Ability to perform effectively under the deadlines and pace of a television sales environment
Experience
