Oldfield Club located in Okatie, South Carolina is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Marketing Communications & Creative Manager! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Position Summary
The Marketing Communications & Creative Manager is responsible for executing Oldfield's internal and external marketing, member communications, creative production, and brand management. This is a hands-on position that works across all departments to organize marketing needs, create and publish content, promote events and programs, manage communications, and ensure everything representing Oldfield is accurate, timely, and consistent with the brand.
Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 plus bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Internal Marketing:
- Own the marketing and promotion of Oldfield events, programs, activities, and amenities.
- Collect and organize event and program information from departments and ensure deadlines are met.
- Build and publish events on the Oldfield App and website, including registration setup.
- Manage and maintain all content on the Oldfield App and website, ensuring hours of operation, amenity information, directories, department information, dining details, operational updates, and other member resources remain current and accurate.
- Create promotional campaigns including emails, newsletters, flyers, push notifications, signage, and digital content.
- Monitor registrations and engagement and adjust promotions as needed to help departments meet participation goals.
- Create surveys and other feedback tools to help measure event and program success.
- Maintain the overall marketing and communications calendar.
- External Marketing:
- Execute Oldfield's external marketing initiatives in coordination with the Director of Membership, Marketing & Communications.
- Coordinate and create advertising for magazines, newspapers, digital platforms, billboards, and other media.
- Coordinate editorials, advertorials, press releases, and other media opportunities.
- Oversee the execution and performance of paid digital campaigns, including Google Ads/PPC and paid social media.
- Support SEO efforts and monitor key marketing metrics, including website traffic, leads, conversions, engagement, and campaign performance.
- Coordinate professional photography and video shoots, including scheduling, shot lists, itineraries, and content needs.
- Oversee the Social Media Manager and ensure they receive the onsite content needed to effectively market Oldfield.
Communications:
- Own the execution of member-facing communications throughout Oldfield.
- This includes operational notices, amenity closures, construction updates, event communications, General Manager messages, Board communications, newsletters, and other important community information.
- Responsible for creating and distributing communications through the appropriate channels, including email, app, website, push notifications, text messages, signage, and virtual meetings.
Creative & Brand Management:
- Serve as Oldfield's primary creative resource and brand steward.
- Design flyers, advertisements, newsletters, brochures, maps, signage, presentations, digital graphics, and other marketing collateral.
- Maintain consistency in Oldfield's logos, colors, fonts, photography, messaging, and overall visual identity.
- Create branded templates and standards for materials used throughout the property.
- Maintain an organized library of photography, video, graphics, logos, and marketing assets.
- Ensure all published materials are proofread, accurate, professional, and consistent with Oldfield's brand.

- Proactive in gathering information and following up with departments.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new platforms.
- Experienced with digital marketing, social media, email marketing, PPC, SEO, and analytics.
- Able to establish processes that ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of marketing and communications experience.
- Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related degree preferred.
- Private club, hospitality, luxury lifestyle, or community experience preferred.
- Experience managing social media and/or outside marketing partners preferred.
- Strong graphic design and content creation skills.
- Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday with flexibility for occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays when events or content needs require coverage.
