Key Job Accountabilities 主要職務Strategic Product Direction: Define and execute the mid-to-long-term product category strategy for the Japanese market, ensuring alignment with international brand positioning and local market needs.
Portfolio & Lifecycle Management: Optimize the product portfolio to maximize growth. This includes sustaining the momentum of pillar products and ensuring the success of new product launches through strategic lifecycle management.
Local Consumer Insight & Market Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of local consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes. Feed back actionable insights to Headquarters (HQ) to influence future product development and create a winning "Angle of Attack" for the local market.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor the Product Marketing team. Foster a high-performance culture by developing team expertise in product knowledge, data analytics, and creative strategy. Ensure robust succession planning and talent growth.
Budget & Financial P&L Ownership: Take full accountability for the category profitability and sales forecasting. Optimize product related resource allocation to maximize Return on Investment (ROI) and contribute to brand's profit.
Integrated Marketing Communication: Lead the local adaptation of advertising materials and exert strong influence over media and promotion recommendations from a product-centric perspective.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Mobilize and align various departments-including Sales, Supply Chain, Digital, and Education-to transform marketing strategies into integrated, company-wide action plans.
Must Have Aspects 必須項目
Experience: 5+ years of marketing experience in a relevant industry, including at least 2 years of proven people management and team leadership experience.
Product Expertise: In-depth product knowledge and brand business know-how, with a strong track record in product development processes and portfolio management.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically based on data while remaining agile enough to respond to rapid market changes.
Communication & Influence: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills to drive consensus with internal stakeholders and global Headquarters.
Financial Literacy: Solid understanding of P&L management, investment analysis, and sales forecasting.
Language Skills: Business-level English fluency (for global reporting and teleconferences) and native-level Japanese proficiency.
Industry Passion: A strong passion for the beauty industry, combined with demonstrated creativity and "out-of-the-box" thinking.
Preferred Qualification 希望項目
High proficiency in data-driven marketing, with experience leveraging digital analytics tools such as Sprinklr, Traackr, and Google Analytics.
Proven ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, agile, and dynamic business environment.
