Description

The Housing Authority of the City of Shreveport (HACS) is seeking an experienced Housing Inspector Supervisor to lead and support a team of inspectors responsible for evaluating rental properties participating in the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. This role ensures all inspections meet Housing Quality Standards (HQS) and applicable regulations while promoting consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across inspection activities. Key responsibilities include team leadership and oversight, inspection scheduling, compliance and quality assurance, 

Requirements

3 years of experience in housing inspection or a related field and at least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience

Strong knowledge of Housing Quality Standards (HQS) and housing regulations, attention to detail with ability to identify violations and deficiencies, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
