The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years' direct experience in sales and investor relations in China from financial institutions, and will be responsible for building-out the business development function within mainland China in connection with the expansion of the firm's WFOE PFM & QDLP business. This role will report to the Asia Head and will be supported by broader Sales, Investor Relations, Investor Solutions and Marketing teams in APAC which are responsible for initiation, development and maintenance of investor relationships across all of our clients globally.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the global teams, local team and counterparties to present and promote Aspect onshore products to qualified investors.

• Drive and execute onshore sales and marketing strategies for both WFOE PFM and potential future QDLP product lines.

• Initiate, develop and maintain client relationships with onshore securities companies, private banks, trusts, wealth management companies, FOFs, corporates and HNWs for our onshore fund launches and ongoing investment.

• Responsible for coordinating on client DDQs,RFPs, performance updates, and ad hoc requests.

• Assist global team in product design for onshore Chinese investors.

• Provide onshore competitor analysis, client sentiment and significant market events updates to local and global teams when necessary or requested.

Essential Requirements

• Degree holder or above.

• Minimum of 15 years' direct experience in sales and business development with proven track record in fund raising, especially in the private fund space. Relevant experience in promoting quantitative strategies is an advantage.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

• The ability to manage full life cycle of fund product from sales and investor relationship perspective.

• The ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly and concisely with internal stakeholders.

• Self-motivated, willing to get involved in all aspects of establishing a new WFOE PFM with entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work under pressure.

• Fluent in Chinese and English.
