FX / Senior FX Sales - Corporate & Institutional (Individual Contributor / Team Lead)

Role Overview
Senior FX Sales professional responsible for driving revenue across corporate and institutional clients. This role combines individual production with optional team leadership, focusing on client acquisition, relationship management, and delivery of FX hedging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Client Coverage & Revenue Generation

1. Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and institutional clients
2. Drive revenues across spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs, and FX options
3. Deliver tailored hedging and trading solutions aligned to client needs
4. Meet or exceed individual (and team, if applicable) revenue targets

Business Development

1. Originate new client relationships and expand existing accounts
2. Partner with internal stakeholders to drive cross-sell opportunities
3. Maintain a strong pipeline of revenue opportunities

Advisory & Execution

1. Provide market insights, trade ideas, and risk management strategies
2. Structure and execute FX transactions efficiently
3. Ensure best execution and high-quality client service

Market & Risk Awareness

1. Stay current on macro trends and FX market developments
2. Adhere to regulatory, compliance, and internal risk standards

Team Leadership (if applicable)

1. Mentor and develop junior team members
2. Drive performance, accountability, and team culture
3. Support hiring and training initiatives

Requirements

Experience

1. Min. 4-15 years of FX sales experience within FIs/NBFIs
2. Proven track record in corporate and/or institutional coverage
3. Consistent revenue generation and client growth

Technical Skills

1. Strong knowledge of FX products (spot, forwards, swaps, options)
2. Understanding of hedging strategies and market dynamics

Client Skills

1. Strong relationship management and sales ability
2. Ability to communicate complex solutions clearly

Leadership (for Team Lead track)

1. Experience managing or mentoring team members preferred

Qualifications

1. Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
2. Advanced qualifications (e.g., CFA, MBA) are a plus
