Description
As an Associate within the Fixed Income Derivatives Sales Team - CEEMEA, Markets Group (CIB Research & Analytics), you will work closely with global sales and trading teams to deliver cross-asset derivatives and structured investment solutions. Your responsibilities include pricing and structuring products, automating processes using Python/VBA, and generating trade ideas based on market research and macroeconomic analysis. You will create pitchbooks and factsheets, backtest strategies, and support post-trade lifecycle events and client queries. Strong knowledge of derivatives, Equities, Rates, FX, Commodities, and programming skills are essential. Familiarity with AI/ML models and business implementation is a plus.Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a sales team that focuses primarily on cross assets derivatives and structured investment products. Based on client requirements, determining suitable products and provide pricing on derivative structures using internal pricing models or developing bespoke products, and help trade lifecycle process like instrument creation, assist with booking, note issuance process, term sheet and pitchbook preparation.
- Drive the process improvement and automation agenda for the sales team. Develop process automations for daily tasks using Python/VBA. Innovating AI/ML use cases within the business.
- Analyzing research reports from various sources and creating trade ideas by using macroeconomic drivers, optimizing payoffs, and generating strategies relevant for our client base.
- Combining the product knowledge with the market research and generating pitch books / factsheets which highlight why a particular product is suited for the current environment and backtesting the results.
- Taking responsibility for post trade lifecycle events and assist with any client queries (settlements issues, lifecycle calculations, reconciliations, legal document checks).
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
- Strong knowledge of derivatives and greeks - indices, futures, and options
- Strong knowledge of Equities, Rates, FX, and Commodities
- Knowledge of VBA and any object-oriented programming language (specifically Python)
- Close attention to detail and ability to work at very high standards of precision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Good communication and team skills in a multi-location set up
- Knowledge of AI/ML models and business implementation of the same is a plus
