The store serves a highly relationship-driven client base and is known for delivering personalized, attentive, and service-focused customer experiences.

About the Role
The Fine Jewelry Sales Professional will provide an elevated, consultative sales experience to clients shopping for fine jewelry, designer collections, custom pieces, repairs, special occasion purchases, and self-purchase jewelry.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident, personable, teachable, and energized by working directly with customers. The right person will be comfortable engaging clients, asking thoughtful questions, learning the product assortment, and helping clients find pieces they will love for years to come. The best fit is someone who can sell with confidence while maintaining a warm, respectful, and client-first approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and provide a professional, personalized, and consultative sales experience.
- Assist clients with fine jewelry purchases, designer collections, repairs, custom pieces, special orders, and self-purchases.
- Build trust with clients through thoughtful conversation, strong listening skills, and genuine follow-up.
- Learn the store's jewelry collections, inventory, repair process, procedures, and point-of-sale system.
- Develop product knowledge across diamonds, gemstones, metals, designer brands, repairs, and fine jewelry care.
- Support walk-in traffic, repeat clients, client follow-up, and trunk show opportunities.
- Make note of client preferences, interests, anniversaries, birthdays, and future purchase opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with other sales professionals to support the client experience and help close sales when appropriate.
- Maintain a polished showroom environment and assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and securing merchandise.
- Represent the store with professionalism, discretion, dependability, and a positive attitude.
- Maintain showroom presentation throughout the day, including polishing cases, dusting displays, and ensuring all displays and surfaces remain clean, polished, and client-ready. In a luxury environment, attention to detail is part of the client experience
- Elevate every client interaction through thoughtful hospitality and presentation, including professionally wrapping purchases, answering calls warmly and professionally, and offering refreshments to create a welcoming luxury environment.
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales experience required.
- Fine jewelry sales experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
- Luxury retail, fine art, high-end sales, bridal, watches, or other relationship-based sales experience will be considered.
- Strong confidence and comfort engaging customers in person.
- Warm, social, positive, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to build trust with a mature, affluent, and community-oriented client base.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Genuine interest in jewelry, luxury products, design, or client service.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate with other sales professionals.
- Dependable, trustworthy, and looking for a long-term opportunity.
- Ability to work a retail schedule, including weekends as needed.

This person should be excited to learn the inventory, understand what makes each piece special, and create a client experience that encourages repeat business. A strong candidate will know how to treat every customer with care, whether they are coming in for a watch battery, a repair, a $5,000 purchase, or a much larger fine jewelry transaction.
Compensation and Benefits
- $22/hour base pay.
- Commission eligibility after a three-month training period.
- Tiered commission structure based on personal sales.
- Estimated annual earning potential of $90,000 to $150,000, based on performance.

Schedule
- The store is open seven days a week, so weekend availability is required. The goal is to create a more balanced rotating weekend schedule as the team grows.
- Showroom hours
- Monday - Saturday: 10:00am - 7:00pm
- Sunday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm
- Opening and closing responsibilities may be required, including preparing the showroom before opening and securing merchandise after closing.
Training
The first three months are designed as a hands-on training period. Training will include learning the store's inventory, repair intake process, computer system, client service standards, procedures, and sales approach.
Fine jewelry knowledge can be trained. However, confidence, personality, professionalism, dependability, and a genuine desire to work with people are essential.
