Description

Chris Coons for Delaware is seeking Field Organizers to work on this key U.S. Senate campaign. Field Organizers will recruit, train, and manage volunteers to expand the campaign's volunteer network and execute voter contact tactics designed to turn out voters for Senator Coons and Democratic candidates up and down the ballot.

Responsibilities

     Recruit, manage, and train volunteers for direct voter contact, including door-to-door canvassing, high-traffic canvassing, voter registration, and relational organizing

     Execute visibility events to educate voters and recruit new volunteers

     Meet daily, weekly, and phase goals for capacity building and voter contact within your assigned region; maintain data integrity throughout

     Develop strong relationships with local party leaders, grassroots organizers, and key activists

     Serve as a point of contact for local offices

     Other responsibilities as needed

Requirements

Requirements

     Delaware ties strongly preferred

     Prior experience as an intern or organizer on a Democratic campaign, or equivalent customer service background

     Ability to live and work in-person within the assigned coverage area

     Ability to meet tight deadlines and problem-solve effectively under pressure

     Valid driver's license with a clean record and access to a vehicle required

     Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends

     Demonstrated multicultural competence—the awareness, knowledge, and skills needed to work effectively with people from backgrounds different from your own

     Proactive commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace and advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion

     Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of staff
