The Impact You Will Have
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota is hiring an Enterprise Strategic Initiatives Coordinator in Eagan, MN. This role provideshandsonsupport to the Chief of Staff to the CEO and sits at the intersection of enterprise strategy execution and board relations. The coordinator helps track progress against enterprise goals,maintainsdashboards and documentation, supports executive strategy forums, and ensures initiatives move forward with clarity and accountability. As backup to the Board Relations team, the role also supports preparation, coordination, and followthrough for board and committee activities, including peak quarterly cycles.
This position requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and comfortoperatingin highly visible, confidential environments. It offers a strong developmental opportunity for someone who thrives infast pacedsettings, takes ownership, and brings a continuousimprovement mindset, including streamlining and automating manual processes.
Your Responsibilities
- Support board operations byassistingtheSeniorBoard Relations with meeting materials preparation, documentation management, and administrative coordination. Provide operational support for board-related activities including quarterly updates, audit committee materials, and meetinglogistics, whilefacilitatingcommunication between board relations team members, administrative staff, and designated contacts as directed by senior leadership.
- Provide administrative and operational support for strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects as assigned.Assistwith data collection, documentation, and tracking of project milestones and deliverables under the guidance of senior team members, while supporting coordination activities between departments and project teams.
- Assistin planning,facilitating, and documenting strategy workshops, annual planning cycles, executive sessions, and strategic off-sitemeetingsthen translate outcomes into clear actions and materials.
- Develop executiveandboardreadystrategic deliverables, including quarterly updates, CEO briefings, reports, dashboards, and presentations informed by internal analysis and external research.
- Track and manage strategic initiative progress, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items;maintaindashboards, documentation, calendars, and reporting cadence.
- Facilitate proactivefollow-upand alignment with business units, divisional Chiefs of Staff, executive sponsors, and functional leaders to ensure momentum and accountability.
- Establish and improve processes and workflows to advance organizational goals, while supporting special projects and priority initiatives as assigned by executive leadership
Required Skills and Experience
- Associate's degree in business administration, project management, office administration, or healthcare administration or 2+ years of experience in project coordination, business operations, or enterprise support.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion andmaintainconfidentiality.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience in healthcare, health insurance, or managed care.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or related discipline.
- Experience supporting enterprise strategy, executive leadership, Chiefs of Staff, or board governance functions.
- Familiarity with board management platforms (e.g., Diligent,BoardEffect),stronglypreferred.
- Provenability totrackinginitiatives,maintainingdashboards, andmanagingtimelines, with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Advanced skills in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet).
- Strong understanding of enterprise strategy and organizational governance.
- Analytical mindset with the ability toidentifyefficiencies, improve documentation, and streamline manual or repetitive processes.
- Comfortoperatingin environments with shifting priorities, routine responsibilities, andhighstakeswork that requires rapid response.
- Interest in innovation and continuous improvement, including leveraging technology, automation, and AIenabled tools whereappropriate.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $61,200.00 - $79,500.00 - $97,800.00 Annual
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
