Rewarding job opportunity with our district!Starting at $32.94 per hour ($48,092/annually).
Responsible for planning, organizing and administering the ECFE and School Readiness programs for the school district with the assistance of the Parent Advisory Council(s) and Community Ed. Director. This position includes teaching ECFE classes and 1 section of Stepping Stones (3 year old School Readiness) and 1 section of 4 year old School Readiness. Work with district representatives on aligning curriculum to enhance kindergarten readiness for all children attending the programs.
Education/Licensure Needed: College Degree with Early Childhood Education License. Preference to those also holding a Parent Educator License.
Job Qualifications:
The ECFE/SR Coordinator must possess a commitment to the ECFE/SR philosophy.
Must have leadership and organizational skills.
Possess the ability to supervise and motivate employees.
Must have a strong knowledge of early childhood development, family dynamics and current family issues.
Must possess knowledge of community resources and the ability to successfully interact with parents and children.
Fulfill missions, goals, and philosophies of Early Childhood programs.
Develop and oversee ECFE and SR program policies and procedures to provide for consistency and focus on childrens individual needs.
Ensure confidentiality and data privacy according to district policy.
Ability to effectively communicate goals, decisions and vision to staff.
Oral and written communication skills to effectively write annual reports and present information. Knowledge of resources to collaborate services, programming and events.
Ability to define problems, assess needs, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
