About the job
A well-established European corporate and institutional bank is expanding its financial markets sales presence in Hong Kong. With a long-standing regional platform across Asia, this is a rare seat on a lean, senior desk where you own your franchise rather than sit three layers deep in one.

What you'll do:

1. Distribute the bank's markets product suite (fixed income, FX, derivatives, structured products and money markets) to institutional clients across Hong Kong, Mainland China and Macau
2. Deepen and grow wallet share with an established client base, while prospecting new institutional relationships
3. Partner closely with Treasury on money markets and FX swaps
4. Work hand in hand with regional and head-office colleagues to bring the full platform to your clients
5. Operate in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment where the desk covers for each other

What you'll bring:

1. A solid track record in institutional financial markets sales, ideally built at a sizeable or international bank
2. Fluency in English plus Mandarin and/or Cantonese, comfortable covering Greater China clients directly
3. A university degree
4. Bonus points for a CFA (or similar) and multi-product breadth across rates, FX and credit

The package:

1. This is a Director-level appointment, with a more senior title (ED) possible for a more seasoned sales exec
