FLSA DUTIES STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Development & Outreach
JOB OBJECTIVE: The Development & Stewardship Coordinator supports donor relations, stewardship initiatives, events, and administrative operations. This role ensures donors feel valued while supporting successful fundraising and outreach efforts.
The essential job duties include but are not limited to:
Donor Stewardship & Relations
- Develop and coordinate a donor stewardship plan
- Coordinate acknowledgments and donor communications
- Track engagement and stewardship touchpoints
- Assist with donor outreach and recognition
Event Support
- Support logistics for fundraising and outreach events
- Manage invitations, RSVPs, and guest communication
- Assist with sponsorships and vendors
- Support post-event follow-up
Development Administration
- Assist with data entry, reports, and donor materials
- Coordinate meetings, tours, and outreach scheduling
- Coordinate and support key development projects and initiatives led by the Senior Director of Development & Outreach
- Any other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Development & Outreach
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- May occasionally supervise volunteers
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–3 years of relevant experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with CRM/database preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Understanding of the mission, operation, strategic goals and services of Catholic Charities.
- Excellent English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Organizational and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to be available on occasional evenings and weekends during surge periods.
- May require overtime during surge periods.
- Manage multiple priorities, including confidential and sensitive issues.
- Excellent planning and implementation abilities.
- Sensitivity to the unique and diverse concerns of the population served by Catholic Charities.
- Ability to relate to and professionally interact with staff, volunteers, and donors
- Operate a personal computer with a variety of software packages, including: Adobe Creative Suite, Greater Giving, Raiser’s Edge, Microsoft Office, WordPress, and other productivity suites.
- Efficiently manage work time according to the needs of the program.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Work well under pressure.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive information.
- Able to function autonomously and be proactive.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is sedentary work that requires the following physical activities:
- Sitting for long periods of time, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
- Occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds of computer equipment or paper supplies).
- May be required to travel by car or plane to business events or other company locations. Travel may require prolonged sitting or standing.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Normal office environment.
- May be subjected to fast-paced decision making, crisis situations.
