Description
The Office of Information Technology at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a CRM DevOps Release Analyst! This position serves as a professional-level (individual contributor) analyst supporting the development, testing, and release of Salesforce.com (SFDC) solutions for the Enterprise CRM program within the Digital Experience and Technology for Learner Success (DETLS) / Learner Engagement Technology (LET) effort, with a focus on Salesforce’s Education Cloud product.
This position exists to relieve developers, Operations Analysts, and the DevOps Manager of routine release mechanics by building and reviewing release packages; implementing and monitoring the deployment pipeline; managing sandbox creation, maintenance, data seeding, and lifecycle; supporting backup and metadata hygiene for production environments; creating/maintaining operational documentation; and providing hands-on configuration and QA testing support. This position reports to the Enterprise CRM DevOps Manager and works closely with the Sr. SFDC Developer, CRM Technical Architect, CRM Operations Analysts, and the Business Analyst team to ensure stable, secure, and scalable releases to production.
This position operates within established change, incident, and configuration management processes, and leverages existing CRM and CU/OIT shared technical infrastructure, methods, and data, including enterprise processes, systems, and integrations. As a professional-level role, work is performed under the supervision and code review of senior technical staff, with a defined escalation path (Analyst/Coordinator> Sr. Developer / DevOps Manager > Assistant Director of CRM Services & Systems).
CU is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment. We are committed to creating a workplace where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, and we encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.

Support tooling standardization and environment rationalization efforts that advance service efficiency and cost optimization.
Technical Support
Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous assistance with deployment-related issues and questions, advancing complex issues to senior developers/analysts or the DevOps Manager.
