Description
Clinical Research Coordinator
Psychology - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (26003353)
This position supports the implementation of an ongoing study focused on assessing the psychological adjustments of young adults from low-income backgrounds followed since age 2 and who are currently aged 21 25. As part of a recently funded spin-off grant, the candidate also would conduct psychiatric interviews on these young adults' primary caregivers (i.e., biological and/or adoptive mothers), who also have been assessed repeatedly during the past 22-23 years.
This role involves administering participant assessments (i.e., psychiatric interviews and questionnaires), participant tracking, scheduling, data collection, and database management across both study components. The position requires the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously, including maintaining engagement with existing participants and re-engagement of their mothers for the spin-off study. As the sample includes families facing both socioeconomic and psychosocial challenges who are often from diverse ethnic and racial backgrounds, the position demands a high level of interpersonal skill and professionalism.
