Description
Business/Finance Administrator Cumru Township is seeking an experienced, collaborative financial leader to serve as the Business/Finance Administrator. The Business/Finance Administrator reports to and works with the Township Manager. Responsibilities - The Finance Administrator has the primary responsibility for managing the Townships financial system. Responsibilities include the following: Assist the Manager in budgeting and capital programing, Prepare financial reports, Oversee Township reserves and investments, Manage cash flow, Assist in the management of accounts payable and receivable, Assist with audits, Perform other business and financial tasks as assigned. Qualifications- Bachelors degree in accounting, business or related field. Masters degree preferred. 3 years of experience in financial management. Municipal financial management preferred. Ability to be bonded. Knowledge of computer-based accounting systems. Knowledge of GAAP and GASB guidelines is desirable. Any combination of experience and education considered.
