Our client, a leading quantitative trading firm, is looking for a Business Development Manager to support the growth of its sports betting and prediction markets business.

This is an opportunity for a commercially driven professional with a strong network across the sports betting industry who understands how to identify, engage, and retain high-value bettors and VIP clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the client base, developing strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth within a business operating at the intersection of technology, trading, and emerging prediction markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build and manage relationships with high-value sports bettors, VIP clients, and other sophisticated market participants.
2. Leverage an existing network to generate new business opportunities and introduce clients to the firm's sports betting and prediction markets offering.
3. Manage the full client lifecycle, from initial introduction and onboarding through to long-term relationship management.
4. Develop new business through referrals, industry events, private networks, and other relevant channels.
5. Collaborate closely with trading, product, and operations teams to deliver an exceptional client experience and provide market feedback to support business growth.

Skills & Experience

1. Established network of high-value sports bettors, VIP clients, or other relevant industry contacts.
2. Proven experience in business development, account management, VIP management, partnerships, or sales within the sports betting sector.
3. Strong understanding of the sports betting landscape and knowledge of where high-value clients can be sourced.
4. Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with sophisticated clients and convert opportunities into revenue-generating business.
5. Commercially minded, self-motivated, and interested in the growing convergence of sports betting, prediction markets, and financial markets.
