The Marketing Department is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support a range of marketing and business development activities, with a primary focus on the Antitrust and Government Contracts practice groups.
This role works closely with Business Development Managers, attorneys, and other firm professionals to enhance market visibility and strengthen client relationships. The Coordinator is heavily focused on pitches and proposals, legal directory submissions, and the coordination of webinars, sponsorships, and conferences. The Coordinator may also support additional practices, industry groups, or firmwide initiatives as needed. This role may be located in the Washington, DC or New York office working a hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Pitches, Proposals & RFPs
Support the full lifecycle of RFPs, pitches, and proposals from planning through submission
Collaborate with attorneys and marketing staff to develop tailored, client-focused materials
Identify and refine relevant content to ensure responsiveness and consistency
Coordinate research, data, and pricing inputs with internal stakeholders
Manage production, assembly, delivery, and recordkeeping of final submissions
Conduct follow-up to track outcomes and capture insights
Practice Group Marketing
Partner with Business Development Managers and Specialists to support ongoing marketing initiatives
Assist with sponsorships, presentations, and targeted business development efforts
Submissions & Rankings
Collect and organize information for submissions to Chambers, The Legal 500, Law360, and similar publications
Coordinate drafting and submission processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Events & Programming
Coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual conferences, seminars, and sponsorships
Provide on-site and virtual event support as needed
CRM & Data Management
Maintain and update the firm’s CRM and experience database (Foundation)
Support targeted outreach efforts by developing contact lists for business development initiatives
Marketing Materials & Communications
Assist with the editing and production of newsletters and client communications
Update and maintain marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, attorney bios, and experience lists
Ensure all materials are polished, consistent, and aligned with firm branding
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 1 year of marketing, business development, or proposal experience, preferably within a professional services or law firm environment
Experience with legal marketing and proposal processes preferred
Familiarity with AI tools and marketing technologies preferred
Experience with CRM systems and databases such as Foundation preferred
Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and collaboratively
Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information
The anticipated base salary for this position is $58,298 to $75,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

As a nonexempt position, this position is eligible for overtime.
The firm may provide a discretionary bonus annually.
