At Hyatt Regency Atlanta, we host some of the city's largest and most exciting events-and we're looking for an experienced Event Services (Banquet)Captain to help lead the way.
In this role, you'll be at the center of event execution, guiding Event Services (Banquet)teams and ensuring every meeting, conference, and celebration is delivered with precision and exceptional service. What You'll Do
• Lead Event Services (Banquet)team members during event setup, service, and breakdown
• Ensure all events are executed according to Event Services (Banquet)Event Orders (EOs)
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve issues quickly and professionally
• Conduct pre-event briefings to align the team on expectations and service flow
• Maintain Hyatt service standards, cleanliness, and safety throughout events
• Support training and mentoring of Event Services (Banquet)staff

Qualifications

What We're Looking For
• 2+ years of Event Services (Banquet)or food & beverage experience (hotel or high-volume venue preferred)
• Previous leadership or captain experience is a plus
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to read and execute Event Services (Banquet)Event Orders (EOs)
• A guest-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 lbs
• Comfortable working in large event spaces and fast-paced environments
