Green Court Capital Management (GCCM) is a private, employee-controlled asset manager with offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore, managing Greater China Equity mandates totaling approximately US$5 billion in assets under management. This culture, coupled with our flat organizational structure, makes it an ideal place to work for entrepreneurial, self-motivated individuals.We are seeking a professional to join the firm's Business Development & Client Service ("BDCS") Function. The BDCS Function has overall responsibility for the formulation and execution of GCCM's client strategy, encompassing global capital raising, marketing to institutional investors, product planning & development and investor relations. Select interaction with existing and prospective institutional investors is expected.
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Qualification & Experience
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in institutional investor relations, business development, capital introduction, investment banking, or equity research/sales, preferably at a premier asset management firm, bulge bracket investment bank, or top-tier investment consultancy
- Familiarity with Greater China capital markets, the institutional investor landscape, or China-focused investment strategies is highly advantageous
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field with an excellent academic background
- Active progression or completion of CFA or CAIA designation is preferred
Technical & Professional Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of and genuine intellectual curiosity about capital markets, investment strategies, and macroeconomic trends
- Proven experience with investor due diligence processes, including the preparation of DDQs, RFIs, and RFPs
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to prepare and construct aesthetic, bespoke investor presentations and other marketing collateral
- Familiarity with various capital market and CRM applications, including Bloomberg, Wind, and Dynamo
