One of Colorado’s original seventeen counties, Lake County is a mountainous, 384-square mile county in the west-central part of the state. Lake County offers great living at 10,200 feet with its County offices located in Leadville CO. With an average of 310 days of sunshine a year this historic silver mining boom town is home to the state’s highest peaks. Abundant with public lands, natural beauty, historic sites, and abundant outdoor recreation opportunities.
