The Anaheim Housing Authority (AHA) is a public housing agency (PHA) established in 1975 that has contractual relationships with HUD from which it receives funds for the development and operation of rental assistance programs. AHA currently administers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and Project-Based Voucher (PBV) programs. AHA also administers several Special Purpose Voucher (SPV) programs, including the Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV), Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH), and Mainstream. AHA currently administers approximately 7,200 vouchers through its rental assistance programs.
