The Fred Meyer & Sons Insurance agency in Edgemere, Maryland (Baltimore County) is seeking a licensed experienced personal lines account executive knowledgeable of all personal lines policies including flood insurance.  

 Some familiarity with commercial lines and or life insurance is a plus but not required.   

 Job duties include rating, selling, and submitting applications for policy  issuance, consistent cross selling of other personal lines policies, explain billing in some instances, discussing and explaining personal lines policy coverages and options, ability to underwrite renewal policies for accuracy and pricing, responding to telephone, email and walk-in customer inquiries, assist when needed in initial claim reporting and some claim follow-up.

Our ideal candidate is detail oriented, is able to multi-task, has a sense of urgency, is able to work with diverse groups of people while maintaining excellent relationships between our agency and our customers, our company underwriters and marketing representatives. This is not a remote position. The core office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.
