POSITION SUMMARY The Product Merchandising Coordinator plays a vital role in preparing and presenting jewelry assortments for cruise lines, trunk shows, retail partners, and special events. This is a hands-on, product-focused role responsible for physically pulling jewelry from inventory, building assortments on pads, photographing them, and creating planograms in PowerPoint for partners to replicate. Success in this position requires precision, speed, strong visual merchandising skills, and unwavering attention to detail to uphold brand standards.
ESSENTAIL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Pull jewelry from inventory daily to build assortments for cruise shipments, trunk shows, and retail displays.
Assemble jewelry on pads, ensuring visually compelling and accurate assortments.
Photograph completed assortments and create planograms in PowerPoint to guide external partners in display setup.
Maintain detailed inventory records of all additions, removals, and replenishments in system.
Collaborate with logistics to ensure timely packing, tagging, and shipment of assortments.
Support product merchandising by identifying gaps, spotting trends, and preparing assortments tailored to customer needs.
Handle high-value jewelry with accuracy, accountability, and confidentiality.
Contribute to merchandising SOPs and best practices for consistency and efficiency.
QUALIFICIATIONS
2–3 years of experience in jewelry merchandising, product coordination, or a related role.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Strong visual merchandising ability and eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; ability to learn proprietary systems quickly.
Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage 100+ SKU assortments with zero error tolerance.
Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role (handling trays, repetitive pulling/packing).
Reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods during merchandising tasks.
WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT
Location: On-site in Great Neck, NY
Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Hourly range: $24.04 - $28.85 (approx. 50,000 - $60,000 annually) based on experience.
Healthcare: Health stipend up to $500/month (post 90-day probation).
PTO: 20 days annually (vacation, sick, holiday, and personal days combined, accrued after probation).
