Description

Under the general direction of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), the Network Systems Supervisor serves as the senior technical member of the Network Services Division and is responsible for long-range strategic planning, design, administration, configuration, connectivity, operations, and maintenance of network hardware and software components and infrastructure; directing and leading the work of staff in the Network Services Division of Information Technology; and interfacing with end users to provide network-related technical support.

Requirements

Required:      
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS or related field; and three (3) years’ experience as an enterprise network administrator; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Texas Driver’s License. Ability to obtain Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation Certification within the first twelve (12) months of employment. Ability to pass FBI 7-year background check. 

Preferred:       
Five (5) years’ experience in Microsoft Enterprise environments design and management and in firewall configuration, management, and auditing. Experience with enterprise backup solutions, layer 2/3 switching and routing, and managing a VMware environments.
