This role blends sharp organization, strong relationship-building, and a deep interest in how people behave and make decisions. As a Planner/Buyer, you’ll lead the implementation of print, out-of-home, and radio campaigns from brief to planning, buying, and reporting.
Our clients count on us not just to manage the details (when, where, how much), but to explain the why: Why this channel versus that one? Why these stations? Why this audience? How will we measure success? That’s where your research instincts, judgment, and media relationships shine.
You’ll collaborate closely with media partners, ensure buys match contracts, stay on top of new opportunities, and keep tabs on how media consumption and Western Canadian markets are evolving.
Attention to detail is critical we read the fine print, juggle tight deadlines, and manage multiple campaigns at once. An education or background in advertising/media is a strong asset. This role currently focuses on OOH, radio, and print, with opportunities to grow into TV or digital.
Most of our work happens in MS Office and in meetings (in-person in Calgary or online). Our team thrives on a hybrid model. The role is ideally full-time, but we’re open to flexible arrangements.
