Description

POSITION PURPOSE

The Continuing Education Marketing Coordinator is the account manager for all continuing education

program marketing needs at RMU. They are responsible for coordinating marketing efforts related to

increasing prospective student conversion for continuing education courses and certificates. Their daily

work will be directed by leadership within Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning Operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Create, edit, deliver and optimize engaging marketing content across multiple mediums

Create messaging that is consistent with marketing and branding strategies

Plan, implement and evaluate digital marketing campaigns

Manage organic social media for Continuing Education

Manage paid digital advertising for Continuing Education programs

Manage creation of print materials for Continuing Education programs

Responsible for offering marketing support to Continuing Education Program

Coordinate marketing efforts with the rest of the Enrollment Marketing, Design, Video,

and Web Administration teams

Requirements

WORKING REQUIREMENTS/CONDITIONS

Education/Certification: 

A bachelor’s degree is preferred in marketing, public relations, or

communications 

Knowledge/Experience:

Paid social media advertising experience

Organic social media management

Good copywriting and visual storytelling abilities

Interacts well with various personality types

Basic graphic design experience in Canva, Adobe suite, etc.

(preferred)

Skills/Abilities: 

Ability to organize and collaborate on multiple projects

simultaneously.

Ability to write engaging, action driven content efficiently.

Ability to create and distribute quality marketing content in line

with a focused marketing strategy.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to execute and analyze email marketing campaigns
