Job description: Job Title: COT Supervisor – Ophthalmology (Glaucoma & Refractive Surgery) Location: [Boise and Meridian offices] Job Type: Full-Time Overview Busy private ophthalmology practice seeking an experienced Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) Supervisor to lead our clinical team. This role oversees technician staff, supports glaucoma care and refractive surgery services, and ensures efficient clinic flow and high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and schedule ophthalmic technicians and clinical staff Manage daily clinic flow and support providers Perform advanced testing (refraction, tonometry, visual fields, OCT, pachymetry) Assist with glaucoma evaluations and patient education Coordinate refractive and glaucoma surgical care (pre/post-op, consents) Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with clinical standards Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management Qualifications Current COT certification (required) 3–5+ years of ophthalmic experience Supervisory experience preferred Strong glaucoma and/or refractive surgery experience Excellent organizational and communication skills EHR proficiency Why Join Us Competitive pay: [$25-$30] Benefits: health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) Supportive, team-oriented private practice Growth and leadership opportunity
