Job Summary Responsible for driving sales of industrial equipment, machinery, and related parts within an assigned territory. Focuses on developing new business, maintaining existing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets while supporting project coordination and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities Generate new customer accounts and maintain existing client relationships. Analyze customer needs and recommend suitable products and services. Achieve sales targets and forecasts set by the organization. Assist in marketing and introducing new products to the market. Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing teams to ensure timely project delivery. Monitor sales orders, costs, materials, and delivery schedules. Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and cost estimates. Negotiate contracts and service agreements with customers. Develop and maintain industry relationships to support business growth. Plan and execute sales strategies. Resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction. Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical explanations. Evaluate sales performance and prepare reports for management. Stay updated on market trends and industry developments.
Requirements
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED with 3–7 years of related experience. Experience in industrial equipment or machinery sales preferred.
Skills & Abilities Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain professional relationships. Goal-oriented with strong negotiation skills. Ability to analyze customer needs and provide solutions. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) preferred.
Working Conditions Office environment with frequent travel to customer locations and occasional exposure to shop/manufacturing settings.
