This position is responsible for delivering professional human resource (HR) services for the Graduate Engineer and Land Surveyor Program (GELSP), including classification, recruitment and selection, compensation, and staffing. The position also provides backup HR support to Career Pathway Programs (CPP) staff as needed. The position also serves as the GELSP operations coordinator, ensuring trainees receive the necessary materials, documentation, and training to meet all program milestones. In addition, the position also contributes to CPP HR special projects aimed at developing and refining GELSP personnel procedures, policies, operation standards, and processes, and serves as a CPP recruiter.
30% travel in Spring and Fall for recruitment events is required.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or a closely related field; OR
One year of professional experience in Human Resources; OR
Two years of technical experience in Human Resources or a related field.

Experience researching, evaluating, and analyzing information.
Experience preparing and communicating information in writing.
