Reporting to the Director, Thought Leader Engagement, this role will be a key member of the Marketing team and will lead the execution of our national conferences and HCP speaker programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment, routinely partnering with Sales, Medical Affairs, and Compliance to deliver impactful, compliant programs.
This position is based in our Waltham, MA headquarters. Our office-based employees are required to work in the office three (3) days a week.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Lead the planning and execution of national conferences, partnering closely with Sales and Medical Affairs to deliver a consistent, high-impact, and strategically aligned conference presence
- Coordinate and manage HCP speaker programs, including operational oversight of the HCP speaker bureau and execution of events
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Sales team on speaker program execution, ensuring seamless coordination and a positive field experience
- Coordinate development and approval of promotional materials supporting conferences (booths, sponsorship assets, etc.) and speaker programs (presentations, invitations, speaker training materials, etc.
- Monitor and assess program performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize effectiveness
- Partner with Compliance to ensure all activities are executed in accordance with internal policies and industry guidelines
Manage external agencies and vendors to deliver high-quality programs on time and within budget
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical marketing
- Proven track record of leading execution of conferences and/or speaker programs for a pharmaceutical company
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven mindset of proactive continuous improvement
- Efficient independent worker with ability to focus and drive for results
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple tasks
- Strong commitment to ethical standards
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
- Ability to travel up to 25%, including a minimum of eight national conferences
- The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience
