Role Overview
Taelor is looking for a Sr. Manager, Marketing and Business Development to lead brand storytelling, creative direction, and integrated marketing campaigns. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will play a critical part in shaping company strategy, brand, and growth.
This role will bring a strong creative and brand perspective, ensuring all marketing channels—from paid ads to social content—feel cohesive, distinctive, and aligned with Taelor’s positioning. The ideal candidate will oversee multiple marketing initiatives and manage contributors across creative, growth, and social channels, while remaining hands-on in shaping campaigns and creative direction.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy, Brand & Creative Leadership
- Define, evolve, and own Taelor’s marketing and partnership strategy, positioning, brand, and creative direction to build a category-defining company.
Lead the development of creative concepts, campaign narratives, and partnership strategies that drive both brand equity and measurable growth. - Create clear, high-quality briefs for designers, content creators, and agency partners, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Manage and mentor creative resources (e.g., junior designers, content creators), Ambassador Managers, Content Strategist, Podcast PR Specialist, and agencies driving fast, high-quality execution while maintaining a strong and consistent brand.
- Own end-to-end program management of marketing initiatives—driving execution from planning through delivery while ensuring timelines, budgets, and outcomes are met. Build scalable processes that enable fast execution without sacrificing quality or strategic alignment
Integrated Marketing Campaigns
- Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns. Lead channels such as paid ads, social media, influencers, PR, podcast, affiliate, word-of-mouth and referral programs, activation and events, email/SMS, CRM and loyalty program, and partnerships. Use AI tools to accelerate marketing operations, content creation and experimentation Lead Ambassador Managers to build and manage influencer partnerships and ambassador programs. Oversee marketing freelancers, content strategists and community engagement initiatives
- Work closely with the Reddit, AIO and SEO marketing team to ensure brand and growth marketing reinforce each other
- Work cross-functionally with Product Managers to optimize landing experiences for relevance, conversion, and measurement. Partner with Stylists and Fashion Merchants to continuously refine product assortment based on customer insights, trends, and performance data.
- Partner with Data Scientists to develop measurement and testing plans, monitor campaign performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive rapid optimization.
Partnerships
- Lead and execute high-impact B2B2C partnership strategies to drive customer acquisition and brand awareness across unconventional, high-leverage channels—building win-win collaborations for Taelor and its partners that enable long-term engagement and shared growth.
- Build and scale partnerships with platforms and communities such as women’s rental subscription companies, schools, chambers of commerce, dating apps, musicians and entertainment talent, gyms and fitness networks, sports teams, and leading fashion brands—working closely with partners’ executive teams to drive strategic alignment.
- Develop co-marketing initiatives that integrate Taelor into real-life consumer moments—ranging from digital collaborations to in-person experiences such as fashion shows, events, and brand activations.
- Own the end-to-end partnership lifecycle—from sourcing and negotiating partnerships to launching campaigns and measuring performance—turning partnerships into a scalable growth engine.
- Drive PR and media opportunities in collaboration with partners, amplify storytelling through co-branded campaigns, and expand Taelor’s cultural relevance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in brand, growth, or integrated marketing, with a track record reaching male consumer audiences in the U.S.
- Strong creative instincts with the ability to craft compelling brand narratives; agency experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage and scale multiple marketing channels simultaneously, and to lead cross-functional global teams and creative resources.
- Data-driven mindset with experience in rapid testing and iteration, performance marketing, and influencer/social media strategies.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance content creation, campaign execution, and marketing workflows.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to operate with speed and ownership in a fast-paced tech startup environment, with the autonomy to lead initiatives and drive impact.
