Server Administrator

Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co., a leader in fire protection solutions, is seeking a talented Server Administrator who supports the daily operations for workstations and servers, and related hardware/software issues for the organization.

How You Will Help

Responsible for the hardware/software support for all workstations and servers for all locations within the organization including installment and daily maintenance
Assists with installation and rollouts of new software packages, upgrades and new hardware
Works closely with other IT personnel to resolve server and network issues
Installs, configures, test, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots workstation and server software as required
Responsible for maintaining the Active Directory
Performs on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of simple and complex workstation problems for a variety of end users, recommends and implements hardware solutions, including off-site repairs as needed
Receives and responds to incoming calls and/or e-mails regarding workstation and server problems
Works closely with third party vendors on current and ongoing contracts
Assist in supporting the following technologies: video-conferencing, telecommunications, LANs and WANs
Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor.
Performs other duties as directed

What You Will Bring

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 (Active Directory, WINS, DNS, RADIUS, Group Policy, DFS, WSUS)
Experience with HP servers (Proliant & Proliant Blade), VMware
Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Server Virtualization, SharePoint Server, and Avaya IP telecommunications systems
Experience with Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Deployment Services, Microsoft SQL Server
Proficient in Microsoft Windows 7/8/10 (Desktop Administration) and Microsoft Office 356 Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher)
Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Related Field
3-5 years of Server Support experience
