Whether customer, partner, or colleague: With PAYBACK, every action becomes a rewarding experience.As Senior Technical Product Manager for our core API products, you will be part of an international team (product managers, developers, and architects) that plays a key role in shaping our company's API strategy. You will work on solutions that meet both internal requirements and external partner needs-and ensure that APIs not only work, but inspire.
YOUR TASKS
- You develop and be responsible for the company-wide API strategy and align it with our business and technology goals
- You define governance frameworks for our API platform and ensure compliance with them
- You manage the entire API lifecycle - from idea to design and deployment to versioning and decommissioning
- You develop guidelines for REST, GraphQL, and Async APIs and establish a decentralized design review process
- You support development teams with API documentation and ensure an optimal developer experience
- You analyze API usage and performance and derive strategic measures from this
YOUR PROFILE
- You have several years of relevant professional experience as a product manager, API strategist, or architect in a technical environment (e.g., API gateway, developer platform)
- You own in-depth knowledge of API protocols such as REST, OpenAPI/Swagger-ideally also GraphQL or Async APIs
- You are familiar with identity and access management (OAuth 2.0, JWT, identity providers)
- You can communicate complex technical concepts in an understandable way and impress with your confident stakeholder management skills
- You work in a structured and independent manner and have a hands-on mentality
- Very good German and English skills round off your profile
