- Senior Marketing Operations & Business Intelligence Coordinator

Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, a full-service Am Law 100 firm with 60 offices in 35 states, seeks a full-time Marketing Operations & Business Intelligence Coordinator. The Marketing Operations & Business Intelligence Coordinator supports the Marketing & Business Development Department by assisting with data preparation, reporting, process execution, and budget coordination. This role partners closely with the Senior Marketing Operations & Business Intelligence Manager to ensure accurate data, smooth workflows, and timely delivery of insights that support data-driven decision-making across the firm.
The Coordinator also works collaboratively with the Business Development team to support their efforts with practice group leaders and individual attorneys, providing research, reporting, and operational support that helps inform client development strategies, pitches, and ongoing marketing initiatives.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and analytical skills who is interested in growing within marketing operations, analytics, and business intelligence in a professional services environment.
Job Responsibilities
Data & Reporting Support
- Assist in the collection, preparation, validation, and organization of marketing and business development data for reporting and analysis.
- Maintain and update dashboards, reports, and data tables in Airtable and other firm financial and data management systems.
- Monitor and report on business development and client development activity, including tracking matters, revenue, and engagement connected to marketing and BD initiatives.
Marketing Operations & Process Coordination
- Assist with maintaining process documentation, templates, and best practices related to marketing operations, reporting, and analytics.
- Help identify data discrepancies or process gaps and escalate findings to support continuous improvement efforts.
Business Development Collaboration & Research Support
- Assist with research related to prospective clients, industries, business development activities, markets, and competitors to support business development initiatives.
- Update and maintain business intelligence databases, including practice group trackers, attorney and office data, experience databases, and other internal resources.
- Support rankings, awards, and other practice-related submissions by assisting with data gathering, tracking, and documentation.
- Assist with tracking outcomes related to pitches, proposals, and client development activities, as directed.
Budget & Financial Administration Support
- Assist with tracking marketing and client development budgets, including data entry, reconciliation support, and variance tracking.
- Help compile budget reports and supporting documentation for internal review by firm leadership.
- Support the collection and organization of client development budget information across practice groups, offices, activity type, and more.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations, analytics support, business development support, or a related role. Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in database management, data handling, reporting, and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex information clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to follow established processes while adapting to evolving needs.
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with attorneys, practice group leaders, and colleagues across departments.
