Summary: Responsible to act in accordance with the policies set forth in the current procedures and manuals. General office duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; others may be assigned:
· Improve work methods and tooling
· Report any safety problems to management
· Follow all environmental, health and safety policies
· Keep work area clean and orderly
· Manage ones own time efficiently
· Evaluate self work to ensure compliance with work instructions and standards
· Read and answer email on a continuous basis
· Intermediate Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
· Intermediate use Visual MRP system
· Responsible for planning, scheduling and releasing work orders for PSP department
· Assist Contract Administrators with work order issue and modify work orders after evaluation
· Determine if delivery dates can be met based on part stock
· Place purchase orders for PSP department
· Fill out purchase requisitions
· Making tags for PSP department
· Coordinate with outside vendors for part/component repairs
· Check stock and place inter branch transfers
· Compile, copy, sort and file records of office activities, add new materials to file records, and create new records as necessary
· Operate office machines, such as scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, personal computers and machines used for tags
· Maintain and update filing and databases, either manually and/or electronically.
· Sort or classify information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria or chronological, alphabetical or numerical order.
· Wearing the proper safety equipment

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); related experience and/or training.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The ability to read, and interpret English documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and reports Ability to write and/or type routine correspondence or reports Ability to effectively share workload in collaboration with team members Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and/or oral instructions, basic business writing skills, good communication skills required
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk, hear and see. Repetitive movement is also required. Must be compliant with FAA Manual vision test and color blindness test.
The employee is required to sit, walk, stoop, bend and move about in an office area/shop area. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift, move, push, and/or carry up to 25lbs occasionally lift, move, push, and/or carry up to 50lbs, and rarely lift, move, push, and/or carry up to 100lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust and focus
Employee will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.
